Universidad de Guadalajara is a fundamental institution in the formation of human resources and in the production of scientific and technological knowledge, both regionally and nationally, with more than 1,000 members of the National System of Researchers, 156 postgraduate programmes recognized by the National Science Council and 34 undergraduate programmes with international recognition.
Over 120,000 students are part of the undergraduate and graduate academic programs offered in our 15 campuses and the online university system, which are located within the state of Jalisco. Its extension programs make Mexican culture, arts, sports and our unique heritage more accessible to the citizens of Mexico and the rest of the world.
