The International Foundation Year (Business & Management) is a comprehensive programme of academic subjects, study skills and English language. It is specially designed for international students who want to study an undergraduate degree in The Netherlands, but do not have the qualifications required for direct entry. On successful completion of this course, you can progress to selected undergraduate degrees at The University Of Twente.
Note: This course and all progression degrees are taught in English. Although the official language is Dutch, more than 90% of citizens speak English. So you should not have any problems communicating while living in The Netherlands.

| Academic | Completion of high school with good grades, equivalent to 5 IGCSE subjects (A-C, 4-9) in relevant subjects (excluding native language). |
| English | English level equivalent to IELTS 5.0 (5.0 in Writing, 4.5+ in other skills), or equivalent (e.g. TOEFL IBT). Exemptions for students who studied a UK or US curriculum, or International Baccalaureate in English. |
