The Foundation Year (Mathematical Sciences) is a specialist programme for international students who want to study a degree at The University Of Plymouth, but do not have the qualifications for direct entry. This course is the first stage of a four stage programme, leading to an honours degree awarded by The University Of Plymouth.
- Stage 1 (University Foundation): a balanced programme of English, study skills and academic subjects to prepare international students for undergraduate study in the UK. This stage is taught at Plymouth University International College.
- Stage 2 (First Year University): this stage is taught at Plymouth University International College or The University Of Plymouth, depending on your chosen subject.
- Stage 3 (Second Year University): taught at The University Of Plymouth.
- Stage 4 (Final Year University): taught at The University Of Plymouth. At the end of this stage, you will graduate with an honours degree.
Note: this is an integrated degree programme at NQF Level 6. That means you will not have to renew your visa when you transfer from Plymouth University International College to The University Of Plymouth and you may be accepted without a UKVI IELTS.
